Wajer Yachts has introduced the Wajer 44 S at Ibiza’s Marina Botafoc, presenting a yacht that merges sporty design with luxury and practicality. This model is crafted for those who enjoy outdoor activities and need a vessel that supports both relaxation and active pursuits on the open sea.

    Optimized for outdoor living

Spanning over 13 meters in length with a 4-meter beam, the Wajer 44 S is designed to maximize outdoor enjoyment. The fixed roof provides shade over the cockpit, a key feature for Mediterranean climates, while an electrically retractable sunshade adds flexibility, allowing more or less sun exposure based on preference. The foredeck’s seating area is ideal for gatherings, offering comfortable spots for enjoying the view or sharing a meal.

The layout emphasizes open space, making it easy to move around and interact with others. The stern features spacious sunbeds, inviting passengers to relax and enjoy the sun. Every detail of the deck design is intended to enhance the experience of being on the water, whether that involves socializing, dining, or simply enjoying the environment.

    Luxury meets functionality

The Wajer 44 S excels not only in style but also in practical features. The center console, a key aspect of the yacht, is well-equipped with a cooktop, sink, and refrigerator, making it convenient to prepare meals and serve refreshments. The automatic fender system, inspired by the larger Wajer 55, simplifies docking, ensuring safety and ease in different mooring situations. Additionally, the hydraulic swim platform provides easy access to the water, facilitating swimming or boarding smaller watercraft.

For those who appreciate water sports, the Wajer 44 S includes dedicated storage for equipment such as electric surfboards, Seabobs, and stand-up paddleboards. This storage ensures that all gear is securely stowed yet easily accessible, making the yacht well-suited for a day of active water activities.

    Comfort and integrated technology

Inside, the yacht is designed to be a comfortable retreat. The cabin features a double bed, a spacious shower, and a well-equipped pantry with a refrigerator, coffee maker, and ice maker. The air conditioning ensures a cool environment, providing a welcome respite from the sun.

Incorporating smart technology, the Wajer 44 S is equipped with the Wajer Connectivity App. This app allows the owner to control various systems remotely, such as adjusting the air conditioning or deploying the swim ladder, adding to the yacht’s convenience and ease of use.

    Performance and engineering

The Wajer 44 S is built for performance, powered by twin Volvo Penta engines, with options for either IPS 500 D6-380HP or the more powerful IPS 650 D6-480HP. These engines enable the yacht to reach speeds of up to 38 knots, providing both speed and efficiency. The yacht’s construction, using lightweight GRP composite materials, enhances its agility and fuel efficiency, ensuring a smooth and responsive ride.

The yacht’s design prioritizes safety, meeting CE-B standards and offering an optional MCA category 3 certification. This makes the Wajer 44 S versatile, capable of handling various maritime conditions, from coastal cruising to more extended journeys at sea. With a fuel capacity of 1,200 liters, the yacht is well-prepared for both short trips and longer voyages.

    Craftsmanship and design

The design of the Wajer 44 S is a result of collaboration between renowned teams, with the exterior crafted by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architecture. The result is a yacht that combines sleek, modern aesthetics with practical functionality, ensuring that it performs well in various sea conditions.

Wajer Yachts, a family-owned company based in the Netherlands, is known for its meticulous craftsmanship. Every element of the Wajer 44 S is carefully considered, from the choice of materials to the precision engineering, reflecting the brand’s commitment to quality and excellence.
